managing your Site Archives

Using PHPmyAdmin.

There are certain scripts, menus, features, call it whatever you like in your cpanel which i am sure you have no idea about. which if you knew would not only help you to make money but also help to make your work cum your internet business easy and smooth flowing.phpMyAdmin is one such tool.

This an open source tool written in PHP that is intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the internet. It can do various tasks such as creating, modifying or deleting databases, copy, drop or alter tables, fields or rows; load text files into tables, executing SQL statements; or managing users and permitted access to a site.

Incase you don’t know what MySQL (pronounced as My S-Q-L, or “My sequel” /ma??si?kw?l/)…well It’s a relational database management system (RDBMS). Which has more than 6 million scripts that can be installed on it. The program runs as a server providing multi-user access to a number of databases.

PHPmyadmin is my favorite script for managing data on MYSQL or simply for managing data on your site, for example assuming you sell shoes on your website, using PHPmyadmin you can use it to create a database of your customers, their name, phone numbers, sex, addresses, etc in an orderly manager and with a click of the button you can easily locate or export these names and use either for promotion purposes or appraisal or with another click just send them an e-mail on your latest shoes.

MySQL is used in web applications and acts as the database component of the software stack. Its popularity for use on websites is closely tied to the popularity of PHP, which is often combined with MySQL. Infact its currently the best things we have right now. that’s why several high-traffic web sites including Flickr, Facebook, Wikipedia, Google, Nokia, and YouTube use MySQL for data storage and logging of user data and PHPmyadmin to manage it. basically this means when you go to yahoo and type in your username and password and access your mails and do all the other stuffs your details and “everything” that make your browsing a breeze is being managed by PHPmyadmin.

Try it today on your websites and see how you’ll boost your income and customer base to a staggering point. besides all siscowebhost a/c come with an Inbuilt tutorial on how to use it. so even if you are not a programmer you wont find it tooooo difficulty. Try it now, You have nothing to loss but all to gain.

DISASTER!

Someone just hacked your hosting and erased your data…
A script/ code in your site goes haywire….
or worst our servers crashes and you loss all your data.

One of the biggest reasons people fail in internet marketing is not backing up their database/ websites.we had a client recently who suffered such a fate.You must learn to use the vback up utility in your account.

The Backup utility creates a copy of data on a hard disk of a computer and archives data on another storage media. Any storage media such as removable disks, tapes, and logical drives can be used as a backup storage.
Backups allow you to download (to your computer) a zipped copy of either you entire site (your home directory, databases, email forwarders configuration, email filters configuration) or one of the previously mentioned parts of your site. These are not automatically scheduled backups. Automatically scheduled backups need to be enabled by the server owner / administrator.Not to worry all siscowebhost  accounts come activated.

Planning for a worst-case scenario isn’t alarmist. It’s common sense. By putting together a data back-up plan you can avoid a business catastrophe! We hear Of horror stories where Internet marketers almost lost their businesses because of a failure to back up religiously.

There are different kind of back ups in your hosting account
1. Partial back up
2. Full back up.

Partial back up
This feature allows you to download a zipped copy of parts of your entire site onto your computer. you can choose form the options below.
* Home Directory
* MySQL Databases
* Email forwarders configuration
* Email filters configuration
to back up.

Full Backup

A full backup includes all of the files in your home directory, your MySQL Databases, and your email forwarders and filters. You can backup your account to preserve your data or use a backup file to move your account to another cPanel server.

Back up your sites TODAY.Use the back up wizard in your Cpanel Hosting account. you can still restore the cPanel by uploading your partial backup zip file(s) or the full one that you downloaded from the backup feature.

Need More Security? Then Consider an Online Backup Service

If you’re especially concerned about safety, you might want to consider an Internet backup. There are many firms on the web that will store your data for you, for a monthly fee. You can run the backup automatically.

Pls do it Now…Sometimes lightening does strike the same place twice. So be sure that you are prepared!Back up Now. Really. Right now. You’ll be glad you did, even if you never need to use that backup.

To your success
